The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resource Bureau of Forestry is in the process of writing a new strategic plan.
The strategic plan sets the bureau’s mission and overarching goals. It guides how the bureau provides leadership in forest management and conservation on both public and private lands in urban and rural areas.
The bureau has developed a survey intended to obtain input from stakeholders and the public on questions pertaining to the new strategic plan.
Questions cover topics such as how you use forest land and what you see as key values of forest land.
“We are aiming to reach many stakeholders and other interested members of the public to gather more opinions about these critical strategic questions,” the bureau said.
“We believe your input would provide value for our survey. We hope you will share the survey and the link below with others.”
The survey link will remain active until Aug. 31. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BOFplan.
