State Police Investigating Burglary at Camp Mountain Run

PENFIELD – State police at DuBois are investigating a reported burglary at a Boy Scouts of America camp in Huston Township, Clearfield County.

Sometime between Jan. 18 and Saturday, state police say someone broke into the Bucktail Council’s Camp Mountain Run in Penfield.

Once inside, they allegedly stole four rifles, two shotguns and a compound bow from a storage room. State police say the perpetrator(s) also attempted to pry open a metal pistol box before fleeing the scene.

The total amount of stolen/damage is $2,485, according to the report.  Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
