State police at Clearfield

  • State police received a report about a motor vehicle theft Thursday along Troy-Hawk Run Highway in Morris Township. According to state police, a Philipsburg woman had her vehicle running to warm up. She was in the process of loading Thanksgiving dinner when she went outside and saw it being driven away towards Sheetz in Philipsburg. State police say the vehicle was located in the suspect’s possession; it was returned and the suspect was housed in Clearfield County Jail.
  • State police received a report about a theft that occurred Nov. 23 at the Quehanna Inn in Karthaus. During the incident, someone allegedly took a hitch-mounted cargo rack from a York man’s vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
