CLEARFIELD – A ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration was held Oct. 24 at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., in Clearfield.

The funeral home hosted an intimate gathering with friends, family and local dignitaries as part of its ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration with the Clearfield Revitalization Corp.

According to its Web site, Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory is the only funeral home in the area with a crematory and funeral home under one roof.

“At our private on-site crematory, your loved one never leaves our care.  That is how we can guarantee, with 100 percent certainty, your loved one’s cremated remains are in the urn.

“With three certified crematory operators, you can be assured that the cremation process is performed in a professional and dignified manner.”

According to its Web site, the funeral home is small so that it can devote personal attention to individual needs and wishes that may get lost in the shuffle at a larger operation.

Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory is located at 113 N. Third St., Clearfield.
