DUBOIS – DuBois Central Catholic’s elementary has begun the “FAB FIVE” initiative, which rewards children who consistently show respect, responsibility, reverence and other traits that make for a great student.

To be nominated by their teacher, the student must exhibit the traits in the mornings during morning prayer and announcements, in class, on the playground, at lunch and in completing homework.

Once nominated, the student’s name is placed in the FAB FIVE bucket.  At the end of each month, five names are pulled from the bucket.

Those students then have “Lunch with Principal Bernat” along with their name and picture placed on the FAB FIVE WALL in the elementary lobby.  Pictured are the “FAB FIVE” for September.
