HYDE — Clearfield Bison running back Jose Alban score three touchdowns to lead the junior varsity football team to a 27-10 win over visiting Central Mountain on Monday night at the Bison Sports Complex.

With the win, the Bison climb to .500 on the season at 2-2.

After a first quarter 37-yard field goal by the Wildcats, it was pretty much all Bison as the hosts ran off 28 straight points to secure the win.

Quarterback Caden Irwin put the Bison in front to stay on a one yard plunge, as Graeson Graves added the extra point.

Alban started his scoring with a three yard touchdown reception from Irwin. Graves’ second kick gave the Bison a 14-3 halftime lead.

The teams swapped interceptions in the third quarter, Max Paul-Cook getting the pick for the Bison.

Alban scored on 21 and 41 yard scores in the third to ice it. Graves punched one more through to close out the Bison scoring.

The visitors scored a fourth quarter TD pass to make the final respectable at 27-10.

The Bison will host Bellefonte next Monday.
