Veterans to be Recognized at State Legion Championship Baseball Game

DUBOIS – The DuBois Chapter of the American Legion is hosting the Pennsylvania State Legion Baseball Tournament at Showers Field this year as part of the 100th anniversary of the American Legion Celebration.

The championship game will be held Wednesday, July 31, beginning at 3:35 p.m., and as part of the pre-game festivities, all veterans are invited to attend to be recognized for their service.

Please arrive at 3:10 p.m. for a pre-game ceremony and plan to remain on the field for the Presentation of Colors.  Please wear appropriate dress for the occasion.

This game will be televised “Live” via the PCN cable network.

Also, a free concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 26 at Showers Field. It’s open to the public and will feature the music group “the Ride.”
