Elmira Hope to Perform at Clearfield’s Corner Concert Series

CLEARFIELD – Local singer/songwriter Elmira Hope will perform Friday night during the Corner Concert Series in the Shaw Park in downtown Clearfield.

Music will get under way at 7 p.m. in the park, which is located on the corner of East Market and Front streets (across from the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library).

Concerts are held every Friday night during the summer months to promote local artists and the community. Funds are also raised for “You Are Worthy,” a local ministry focusing on empowering women.

Due to threats of rain, last week’s concert, scheduled to feature “Touch of Grey,” was cancelled. Now it’ll be held Friday, Aug. 16; you can check the event’s Facebook page for future updates.

More information on the “You Are Worthy” ministry can also be found on Facebook. Please help support it through the purchase of a #Worthy T-shirt on mynewmerch.com.
