GANT, CAST to Host Storytellers Project

CLEARFIELD – Do you know someone with a compelling, first-person story?

GANT News, in collaboration with the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre Inc., will host the Storytellers Project at the CAST’s auditorium, and are seeking people to tell their story on-stage.

It will closely resemble a nationwide series of live storytelling events, during which anyone, from next-door neighbors to public figures, can share their true, first-person story with others.

GANT and CAST will be hosting these storytelling events to both better serve and to form a deeper connection with members of local communities.

This collaborative project will combine journalism and oral storytelling to present on-stage entertainment that appeals to everyone.

GANT and CAST strongly believe that if we share stories together, we will become more unified and invested in one another as a community.

The first storytelling event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 11 at CAST. Other dates will be announced in the coming months.

CAST is an art center, located at 112 E. Locust St., in the heart of downtown Clearfield.  Storyteller referrals should be e-mailed to or

Please provide the person’s name, hometown and contact information in your e-mail inquiry, along with a story summary in 300 words or less.
