Three Nabbed in Lawrence Twp. Drug Bust

CLEARFIELD – Three people were nabbed in a drug bust Sunday with a juvenile inside their vehicle, reported Lawrence Township police.

Jeremy Gregoire and Alyssa McGarry, both 27 of Clearfield, and Gabrielle Reffett, 20, of West Decatur have been arrested on drug, corruption of minors and related charges.

The charges stem from a routine traffic stop at approximately 12:47 a.m. on Palmer Street in Clearfield, according to a news release issued by Officer Zachary Cowan.

Contact was made with the driver, identified as Gregoire, and officers were aware that he was operating his vehicle while under suspension.

Other occupants of the vehicle were identified as McGarry, Reffett and a juvenile female. Police found Gregoire had an active warrant; and controlled substances were found inside the vehicle.

A search uncovered one firearm, which was allegedly illegally obtained by Gregoire. It also resulted in the seizure of three large bags of suspected psychedelic mushrooms; 96 stamp bags of suspected heroin; crystal meth; and over $1,400 in cash.

Upon investigation, police learned that Gregoire, McGarry and Reffett had previously been at a local motel and were involved with and or aware of the distribution of controlled substances.

Gregoire was also found to be making a “drug run,” Cowan said. Officers attempted to make contact with known individuals at the motel; however, they were notified and fled prior to police arrival.

Because Gregoire, McGarry and Reffett were on probation, they were housed in county jail. The juvenile was subsequently released to a parent/guardian, according to the news release.

Gregoire has been charged with firearms not to be carried without a license; possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; conspiracy; possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; corruption of minors; and three summaries.

McGarry has been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; conspiracy; possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; misbranding of a controlled substance/prescription; and corruption of minors.

Reffett has been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; conspiracy; possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; and corruption of minors.
