State police at Clearfield

  • State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Tuesday on Sawmill Street in Beccaria Township. During the incident, someone allegedly broke a window in a residence with an unknown object. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
  • State police received a report about an assault that occurred Saturday in the area of Deer Creek and Big Run roads in Graham Township. During a graduation party, two teens engaged in a verbal altercation that allegedly turned physical in nature. State police say a 17-year-old girl attempted to strike an 18-year-old man, and he struck her in the face about five times, which caused her to suffer moderate injuries. State police cited the girl for disorderly conduct while the man was arrested for simple assault, harassment and underage drinking.
  • State police received a report about a theft that occurred Tuesday on Sixth Street in Morris Township. During the incident, state police say a fuel can was stolen that belonged to a Hawk Run woman. She told troopers she saw an all-terrain vehicle stop and one male got off, then he ran up and took her red gas can from along the side of her home. Afterwards, he ran back to the ATV, and the males fled the area. She said both males were wearing full face helmets, and she couldn’t identify them.   • State police received a report about a motor vehicle theft that occurred Tuesday on Surveyor Road in Girard Township. During the incident, someone allegedly took an ATV from a Clearfield residence. It was a 1996 Yamaha Warrior YFM that was red with gray fenders and blue handlebars. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.

Clearfield Borough

  • Police responded to a minor crash on McBride Street. No injuries and minor damage were reported to police.
  • Police received a report about an assault on Bigler Avenue. During the incident, a female allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with another female.  Charges are currently pending at this time.
  • Police received a report about a suspicious female on East Sixth Street. Upon a search of the area, police were unable to locate anyone.
  • Police are investigating a retail theft at a local business. During the incident, someone allegedly removed an item without paying for it.
  • Police received a report about someone knocking on doors in the area of SW Third Avenue. Upon a search of the area, police were unable to locate anyone.
  • Police received a report about a disturbance in the 800 block of Dorey Street. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
  • Police assisted a motorist along East Locust Street after their vehicle had become disabled.
