Clearfield Man Wanted on Drug, Assault Charges

CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man is wanted on drug- and assault-related charges, Lawrence Township police say.

Christopher A. Luce, 31, has been charged with felony counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and intentional possession of a controlled substance.

He has also been charged with misdemeanor counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia, simple assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.

The charges stem from an investigation into an assault that occurred at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday at the Super 8 Hotel in Clearfield, according to a news release issued by police.

Luce allegedly held a knife to the victim’s neck and made threats to kill her. Police say he proceeded to assault her before fleeing from the scene.

Officers arrived at Luce’s hotel room and allegedly located various controlled substances, a scale and packaging materials and drug paraphernalia.
