DUBOIS – A DuBois man will stand trial for robbing his neighbor’s residence while wearing a ski mask.
DUBOIS – A DuBois man charged with assault for allegedly slapping a boy so hard he knocked his glasses off waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday during centralized court.
CLEARFIELD – Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived in downtown Clearfield on Saturday in the YMCA’s Christmas parade. Afterward children were invited inside the YMCA for hot cocoa and cookies, crafts and of course to give Santa their Christmas wishes. CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Jury selection is under way for a Clarion man accused of killing a Curwensville woman in March of 2017.

CLEARFIELD – After reviewing the details of a false imprisonment case against a Philipsburg man, President Judge Fredric J. Ammerman rejected his plea agreement on Monday.
DUBOIS – On Monday night, the Sandy Township supervisors voted, 3-2, against the sale of the municipal authority and its water and sewer system to Aqua PA.
CLEARFIELD – On Tuesday the Clearfield County Commissioners issued a brief update on the status of the proposed Camp Hope Run landfill.
CLEARFIELD – The main witness in the case against a Madera man charged with murder is asking to be released from jail.
CLEARFIELD – Though significant cuts have been made in recent weeks, Clearfield County’s tentative budget still had a deficit of just over $200,000 when it was approved Tuesday.
CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – The first day of the Damien L. Ditz trial on charges of homicide in the death of Katrina Seaburn ended with the trial being recessed early because of the defendant having a “medical emergency.”
CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield school board held its reorganizational meeting Monday night.
CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Supervisors held a short meeting Tuesday night.
DUBOIS – On Monday the Sandy Township supervisors approved its preliminary 2019 budget. It will be finalized at a special meeting Dec. 27.
CLEARFIELD – On Tuesday the Clearfield County Commissioners approved to reallocate 2014 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to a Mahaffey demolition project.

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – The jury heard hours worth of audio/video testimony from Damien Ditz to Pennsylvania State Police on the second day of the murder trial on Wednesday at the Clarion County Courthouse.
HARRISBURG – Twenty-six airports will make infrastructure and equipment upgrades to maintain safety and expand aviation-related operational and economic opportunities with the assistance of over $6 million in state investments, Gov. Tom Wolf announced Thursday.
HARRISBURG – The Wolf Administration will provide naloxone for free to any Pennsylvanian who wants it at nearly 80 locations across the state, primarily at state health centers and county/municipal health departments, on Thursday, Dec. 13 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
