State police at Clearfield

  • State police received a report about an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred sometime Tuesday or Wednesday on the Morrisdale – Allport Highway in Morris Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s vehicle and removed several items. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.

State police at Punxsutawney

  • State police reported a drug-related incident Sept. 22 on Pine Tree Road in Henderson Township. State police say that during the incident, six syringes were left on a Sykesville man’s property. Upon arrival on-scene, troopers properly disposed of the syringes.
  • State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Aug. 16 at Wal-Mart in Young Township. During the incident, a couple entered the store and allegedly removed three Motorola Zebra TC-70 mobile computers/barcode scanners, which are valued at $800. State police are continuing their investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact 814-938-0510.
  • State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Sept. 23 on East Main Street in Mahaffey Borough. During the incident, an 18-year-old male allegedly directed threats toward the victim. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
  • State police received a report about an incident of indecent assault that occurred Aug. 14 in Big Run Borough. During the incident, a suspect allegedly subjected a 13-year-old DuBois boy to unwanted physical contact. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
  • State police received a report about an incident of statutory rape/sexual assault that occurred Aug. 9 in Mahaffey Borough. During the incident, a suspect allegedly engaged in sexual acts with a 14-year-old Dixonville, Pa. girl. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.

Lawrence Township

  • Police received a report about a theft that occurred Wednesday on Lawrence Grange Road. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a hunting blind from a camp site. The victim also told police there were several kerosene lanterns that had either been broken or thrown into the woods. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
  • Police received a report about an incident of harassment by communications that occurred Wednesday on Village Road. During the incident, threats were allegedly directed toward the victim on Facebook. Police say the posts were in relation to another incident that they were made aware of prior by another male. Police spoke with those involved in the situation.
