State police at Clearfield

During the incident, someone allegedly cut copper power cables away from a pad mount transformer. Then, they fled the scene. The value of the copper and damages are estimated at $1,500, state police say; the investigation is continuing at this time.

- State police received a report about a theft that occurred Sept. 1 on Third Street in Henderson Township. During the incident, someone allegedly took peaches from a Stump Creek man’s tree. The stolen peaches are valued at $300, state police say.
