The Clearfield Area United Way recently held its annual member agency site visit meeting at Camp Confidence.

CAUW also made a presentation to help with supplies for the Camp Confidence summer camp.

The camp is made available to challenged local youth at Camp Mountain Run near Penfield.

Shown, from left, are board member Father Brandon Kleckner and Camp Director Grace Marshall.

Local high school students who are interested in serving as a volunteer camp counselor next summer are asked to please contact the CAUW at 814-765-6521.

Many teen counselors have pursued careers in fields, such as education, speech therapy and many others.  “It’s a great program not only for the campers, but also for the volunteers,” said Kleckner.
