Curwensville Man Dies After Being Electrocuted in Rush Twp.

RUSH TOWNSHIP – Adam D. Kanouff, 40, of Curwensville died after being electrocuted in an accident Monday in Rush Township.

According to Philipsburg-based state police, Kanouff was working for Townsend Tree Service when he cut a tree limb, which fell across power lines.

State police say Kanouff was electrocuted and died as a result. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Centre County Deputy Coroner Deborah Smeal.

State police were also assisted at the scene by Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services and the Hope and Mountain Top/Sandy Ridge fire companies.
