Spring Festival to be held at LHU Clearfield

CLEARFIELD – Lock Haven University Clearfield will hold its second-ever spring festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 19 at the Clearfield campus.

The event will include art and craft vendors, food trucks, musical entertainment, a cruise-in and more.

The event will benefit the Helen Hummel Memorial Book Fund, established in memory of Hummel, dean emeriti, LHU Clearfield.

Hummel believed that every student should have the opportunity to succeed and this fund will support students in need.

Featured musical entertainment will be the Pittsburgh Steeline, a professional entertainment drumline from Pittsburgh. The Steeline performs live at all Steelers home games, as well as many other Steelers team functions.

Comprised of professional, adult-aged drummers and support staff, the Steeline is an active performance ensemble throughout Western Pennsylvania, performing regularly at parades, races, conventions and corporate and community events.

This performance is made possible by contributions from CNB, CBT, C. Alan Walker and Gathagan Investments.

The musical performance schedule will include the following:

  • 1 p.m. -1:30 p.m. — Keystone Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps
