HYDE — The Clearfield Area High School baseball and softball teams saw home games turn into practice again Thursday because of postponements due to the overnight rains and morning snow.
Both of the Mountain League encounters with Central were immediately rescheduled by athletic director Robert Gearhart.
The Lady Bison (2-3, 1-2 ML) will make up their game Friday in a doubleheader on the Scarlet Dragons’ home diamond at Martinsburg, with the first pitch at 3 p.m.
Monday, May 7, is the new date for the Bison’s game with the Scarlet Dragons at the Bison Sports Complex.
They were supposed to meet in the season opener at Martinsburg, too, but that game has been called off three times and now is slated for April 28.
The 3-1 Bison, who have played only one home game, are scheduled host Bradford Friday and Philipsburg-Osceola Saturday in a league make-up at 1 p.m.
