It will be held Friday night and Saturday, June 8-9, at the Woodland Park.
In addition to the “Backyard Amateur BBQ” with special classes for fire companies, there will be a car show Saturday and a fireworks display later that evening.
The Friday night of the event, there will be a meet-and-greet for the BBQ contestants. The registration deadline for the BBQ cook-off is May 1.
The car show will have 14 classes, including one for farm tractors. Car show registration will be held from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. the day of the event.
Other events Saturday will feature a performance by Heavenbound, a live broadcast with Bob E. Day from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., and more.
The event will also feature kid’s games, a Chinese auction, food and craft vendors and music throughout the day on Saturday.
