CLEARFIELD – Hailed as a “staple of Steelers entertainment,” the Pittsburgh Steeline will provide a clinic for high school-aged drum students and a performance as part of the second-ever Spring Festival at LHU Clearfield.
The clinic will be held from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 19 at LHU Clearfield, with a performance starting at 12 p.m. The Spring Festival will be held from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The Pittsburgh Steeline is a professional drum-line that performs live at all Steelers home games, as well as many other Steelers team functions.
Comprised of professional, adult-aged drummers and support staff, the Steeline is an active performance ensemble throughout western Pennsylvania, performing regularly at parades, races, conventions and corporate and community events.
Steeline members pride themselves in providing fun, engaging, energetic, family-friendly Steelers-themed entertainment. Support from CNB, CBT, C. Alan Walker and the LHU Foundation make the appearance by Steeline possible.
The Spring Festival will feature arts, crafts, food vendors, additional musical entertainment and a cruise-in. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Helen Hummel Memorial Book Fund.
The general public is invited to attend the performance. Drum students, band and or music directors that are interested in learning more about the clinic, should contact Casey Friberg at 814-768-3402 or e-mail cdf340@lockhaven.edu for more information.
