CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield-DuBois Chapter of the American Red Cross is looking to “Sound The Alarm” in Clearfield Borough.
CLEARFIELD – A 34-year-old Curwensville man, Cory Irwin, is wanted for failure to appear for court in two separate drug cases.
CURWENSVILLE – A special hearing to decide if Curwensville Borough should allow the transfer of a liquor license into the borough for Snappy’s Convenience Store was held prior to Monday night’s regular meeting.
CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Election Board, at the direction of the Pennsylvania Department of State, is currently in the process of reviewing voter registration records.
CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Election Board will adhere to its interpretation of Bradford Township’s precinct boundaries as defined in a court order issued in 1985.
CLEARFIELD – Bradford Township will remain a “dry” municipality for now, and voters will not yet be asked to decide if alcohol should be offered for sale.
CURWENSVILLE – Parents and concerned community members were invited to an informational meeting Tuesday night at Curwensville Area High School regarding school safety protocols, entitled “Where we are, where we are going.”
DUBOIS – Just after 8 a.m. the last Friday in February, a Southern Express Airways plane landed at DuBois Regional Airport with a few special guests.
MORRIS TOWNSHIP – Leslie Wayne Conklin, 61, of Morrisdale has been charged by Clearfield-based state police with criminal attempt/criminal homicide, F1; aggravated assault, F1; aggravated assault, F2; and related offenses.
CURWENSVILLE – Several items were discussed during Monday night’s regular meeting of Curwensville Borough Council, including an agreement regarding a stormwater project.
CLEARFIELD – The future of Quehanna Industrial Development Corp. and also several articles from a regional blog writer topped the Clearfield County Recreation and Tourism Authority.
CLEARFIELD – When Robert and Emily Grimminger opened a small military surplus store in Clearfield in 1948, they had no way of knowing their family business would be one of the main staples of Clearfield.
CLEARFIELD – A Coalport woman has been accused of stealing more than $3,400 from her mother while she was in a local nursing home.
MORRISDALE – More details have been released in an attempted homicide case that was filed Wednesday against a Morrisdale man for allegedly firing two gunshots at his step-son.
