State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Sunday on Salem Road in Boggs Township. During a domestic, a female allegedly scratched a male on his facial area after he grabbed her on the neck. Charges will be filed through the district court.
State police at DuBois
- State police reported on a DUI that occurred Saturday on Route 219 in Sandy Township. According to state police, a 21-year-old Reynoldsville man was stopped for several summary traffic violations. While speaking with him, state police allegedly detected a strong odor of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested for DUI and related traffic offenses, which are pending blood test results.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police responded to a report of a drug overdose Monday on Railroad Street in Rush Township. Upon arrival to the scene, a 25-year-old male was found unresponsive due to a suspected opioid overdose. Two doses of Naloxone were administered and revived him. The male was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center for further treatment. State police were assisted at the scene by members of the Hope Fire Company and Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services.
State police at Ridgway
- A state police fire marshal investigated a tractor-trailer fire that occurred Friday on Shed Drive in Woodward Township. According to the report, when firefighters arrived, the tractor-trailer was fully-involved. Evidence indicated that the fire started in the engine compartment area, which sustained major heat and fire damage. State police say the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time; the tractor-trailer was a complete loss with damage estimated at $150,000.
- State police reported on a DUI that occurred Saturday on Route 255 in Elk County. According to state police, a Jay Township male was stopped for numerous traffic violations. He was subsequently arrested for suspected DUI and drug-related charges.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Saturday on Cuneo Road in Fox Township. During the incident, a Kersey man and the victim became involved in a verbal altercation. It turned physical when he allegedly pushed/shoved her. He was cited for the incident through the district court.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report about possible drug activity in the area of Nichols Street. However, the vehicle left the area prior to police arrival.
- Police responded to a report about a loose dog in the area of Spruce Street. However, police were unable to locate the dog.
- Police assisted a motorist after they locked their keys inside their vehicle on South Third Street. Police were able to gain entry into the vehicle.
- Police stopped a male who was seen staggering along Bridge Street. He was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police assisted Crisis personnel at the hospital with a patient who was reportedly being disorderly and causing problems.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with a one-vehicle crash with injuries along Riverview Road.
- Police responded to a SW Third Avenue address after a report about a light being on inside the vacant residence. Police checked the residence and determined it was secured; also, there wasn’t anyone inside.
- Police were assisted by a Pennsylvania State Constable with serving a warrant on a female. The female was able to satisfy the warrant.
- Police responded to a vehicle collision along North Front Street. According to police, there weren’t any injuries and both vehicles were driven from the scene.
- Police responded to a report about a person dumping a load of wood into a resident’s yard on East Cherry Street.
- Police reported that a vehicle was entered and rummaged through while it was parked along Leavy Avenue.
- Police assisted a person along Daisy Street by giving them a ride to Sheetz. The person was not from the local area.
- Police attempted to stop a vehicle along West Market Street after the driver was observed throwing items out of the vehicle. Upon investigation, police found some bags of suspected marijuana. Police also located items of drug paraphernalia along with suspected methamphetamine. Charges are currently pending further analysis.
- Police responded to Nichols Street where a person was reportedly passed out inside a vehicle. Upon arrival, police spoke to the driver who was on her phone. Police didn’t observe any signs of impairment, however.
- Police responded to a report about loud music being played in a vehicle and the occupants yelling obscenities in the area of Turnpike Avenue and Nichols Street. Upon arrival, police were unable to locate the vehicle.
Lawrence Township
- Police responded to a vehicle crash Saturday on Riverview Road in Lawrence Township. When police made contact with the driver, he was allegedly under the influence and in possession of a controlled substance. He was flown to UPMC Altoona, police say, and charges will be filed upon the receipt of laboratory test results.
DuBois City
- Police were requested to contact a male about items that were allegedly stolen from his vehicle while he was at work. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police assisted the ATF, FBI and Federal Probation with taking a male into custody. He was taken into custody without incident.
- Police received a report about a male who was suspected of changing price tags at Goodwill. He was directed to leave the store and not to return.
- Police received a report after a woman believed that she received counterfeit $100 bills from her bank around Christmas. She was directed to her bank, which can confirm the authenticity.
- Police reported that a male was arrested on a state parole/probation warrant on South Avenue.
- Police received a report about a male who was threatening his girlfriend’s parents on Simmons Street. Officers located the male and female a few blocks away, and they were intoxicated. They were later released and have been cited for the incident.
- Police were requested by a man to check the welfare of his ex-wife. She was eventually found and wasn’t in any need of police assistance.
- Police were requested to assist emergency personnel with a male who was on the ground and who had been outside for a significant time. Officers provided care and assisted as needed to.
- Police received a report about a male who was walking and soliciting in the West Washington Avenue area. He wasn’t located by police.
- Police received a report about a theft at the Hitching Post. According to police, a male ordered food to go, a beer and six shots for other women at the bar. His girlfriend reportedly came in to confront him and the other women. The male and female allegedly left without paying for their tab. Police have obtained the license plate information, and the investigation is ongoing.
