State police at Ridgway
- On Thursday Justin A. Madejrich, 25, of Buffalo, NY was stopped for multiple traffic violations at the intersection of North Broad Street and Allenhurst Avenue in Ridgway Borough. According to state police, it was discovered that he was wanted on drug charges in Jackson County, Missouri. He was subsequently taken into custody and put in Elk County Prison to await extradition. State police say the investigation is continuing into Madejrich’s involvement in illegal activity in Elk County. State police were assisted by the Ridgway and St. Marys police and the Elk County District Attorney’s office.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to a trespassing complaint on Spruce Street. Upon arrival, police were unable to locate anyone.
- Police responded to a hit-and-run on River Road. Police report that the driver of a silver-colored Ford Ranger backed into another vehicle and fled the scene.
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment by communication. During the incident, someone allegedly called the victim threatening to harm them.
- Police arrested a male after responding to a domestic on Market Street. According to police, he refused to let them inside. Police made entry and arrested the male.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident along North Second Street. According to police, a vehicle was rear-ended, causing substantial damage. One vehicle was towed from the scene, and no injuries were reported as a result.
