Nancy A. Lesko, 71, of Morrisdale went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
Born Jan. 10, 1946 in Karthaus, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Rauch McGonigal.
She married John J. Lesko, who survives in Morrisdale.
Surviving are her daughter, Jodi L. Sanker of Philipsburg; her son, Joseph L. Lesko and his wife, Bobbi Jo of Philipsburg; and her step-children, John Lesko, Bob Lesko and Dawn Drury.
Surviving are her grandchildren, James “JP” Sanker, Jami Sanker and her fiancé, William Myers, Jonathan Sanker, Jenni Sanker, Jacob Lesko and Joshua Lesko; her step-grandchildren, David Drury, Nathan Lesko and Lauren Johnson; and her great-grandchildren, Bailey and Lincoln.
Also surviving are her sisters, Emily Narehood and her husband, Edward and Mary Teats; her brothers, Donald McGonigal and Bill McGonigal and his wife, Ruth Ann; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved fur baby, “Bert.”
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, William Joseph Lesko as well as her four sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Lesko worked for Navasky’s, Philipsburg, for many years and from which she retired. She was also a homemaker.
She attended the Winburne Presbyterian Church. Her favorite thing was to go to the homestead on Sundays and reminisce with her family.
Family and friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 3 p.m. with Lay Minister Gary Jewart officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Memorial Cemetery, Karthaus.
