CLEARFIELD – The 2018 calendars are now available at all CNB Bank branch offices and the public is invited to stop in to pick up their free copy.
In August, 12 winners, including a Best of Show, and 24 honorable mentions were selected to be featured in the 2018 CNB wall calendars.
Local residents – beginner, amateur or professional photographers – were encouraged to submit one or two of their photos via the bank’s Web site at www.CNBBank.bank.
The 2018 calendar features photos with the theme of Americana. More than 200 entries were received as part of the contest.
However, one stood out as Judge’s Best of Show, and it was awarded to Hannah E. Robison of Indiana, Pa.
Robison’s photo, which is entitled “Summer,” is not only featured on the calendar’s cover, but also for the month of June.
The other 11 months will feature photographs submitted by Cathy Bechtold of Bigler, Haley Owens of Clearfield, Rocky Holland of Kane, Joi Cooney of Loretto, Catherine Shank of Madera, Phyllis Shaffer of Penfield, Ed Hughes of Philipsburg, Tom Vicic of Port Allegany, Olivia Stuby of Punxsutawney, Bill Simbeck of Sheffield and Ricky Werneth of St. Marys.
In addition, 24 photographs earned honorable mention and will be displayed on a special page of the calendar. Those photographs were submitted by Jackie Anderson, Cathy Bechtold, Donald Biresch, Jessica Casto, Cierra Clark, Mark Conner, John Cozen, Tia DeShong, Dennis Dillon, Jim Dougherty, Marie Fair, Timothy Fairman, Stephen Fisanick, Jena Hosband, Paula Kerr, Michael Krakat, Chris Lampe, Melissa McGuire, Dana McNaul, Sandy Owens, Patty Prechtl, Dawn Roussey and Amanda Snell.
CNB wishes to thank all the individuals who help to continue to make this calendar so popular among its customers.
CNB Bank initiated this contest to provide an avenue to feature local talent and the communities in which the bank serves through the eyes of residents as they’ve captured with their camera.
The 2019 CNB Bank wall calendar theme will be “Local Parks and Recreation,” so plan to save your photos to enter in next year’s calendar photo contest.
