Quarterback Bryce Timko of Curwensville had a four yard run for a score with 4:05 left to play in the first, and after Madison Weber tacked on the extra point the Tide led 15-0 after one.
Three more scores in the second frame pushed Curwensville’s halftime margin to 36-0.
Stewart scored from five yards and four yards, while junior tailback Blake Passarelli had a five yard score sandwiched between Stewart’s. Stewart ended the night with 111 yards on only 14 carries.
Weber kicked the PAT on the first Stewart score of the second quarter while Josh Terry added a two point conversion run on a fake extra point attempt by Weber.
The third quarter went scoreless with neither team mounting any sort of offensive threat.
