CLEARFIELD – This past summer’s Corner Concert Series benefited Young People Who Care Ministries.

Steve Albert, organizer, recently presented a donation of $840 to help support the ministry thanks to the local community.

Albert organized corner concerts every Friday night between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The live performances were held in Shaw Park in downtown Clearfield and featured local talent.

Donations are collected at the concerts and shared between the performers and a local non-profit organization.

In 2017, it marked the fifth year for the Corner Concert Series. The series benefits a different charity every year.

“We want to thank the community and all the performers for their support over the years. We’re already looking forward to 2018,” Albert said.
