BREAKING: Three People Facing Charges in Ridgway Twp. Arson

RIDGWAY TOWNSHIP – Three people are facing arson charges in connection with a November of 2015 fire in Ridgway Township.

Renee L. Groeger, John P. Miller and Cody J. Miller, all of Ridgway, have also been charged with insurance fraud, criminal conspiracy, criminal attempt, theft by deception and criminal mischief.

According to state police at Ridgway, the fire happened at 11:08 p.m. Nov. 16, 2015 at 2130 Montmorenci Rd. The fire caused more than $100,000 worth of damage to a two-story, wooden-framed structure.

In a prior report, state police said the property was unoccupied at the time, and there weren’t any injuries reported as a result of the fire.

Groeger and John and Cody Miller were arraigned Monday and incarcerated in the Elk County Prison in lieu of $100,000 cash bail.
