State police at DuBois
- State police reported a DUI/drug violation that occurred July 7 on Brady Street in Sandy Township. According to state police, a 30-year-old male was the operator of a vehicle, and he was under the influence of drugs. He was also allegedly found in possession of drug paraphernalia.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred July 25-26 in the area of Rattlesnake and Scottish Heights roads in Snyder Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole 20 dozen golf balls from an honor system stand. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
- State police reported a DUI crash that occurred Saturday along Route 28 in Snyder Township. According to state police, a vehicle operated by a 24-year-old male crossed the centerline and swerved off the roadway, striking a tree. The male was transported to the hospital for a medical evaluation. State police said he is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol, and the investigation is ongoing.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Sunday on Smith Street in Rush Township. During the incident, a 31-year-old male allegedly punched a 60-year-old male in the stomach.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Friday or Saturday at Brother’s Pizza in Halfmoon Township. During the incident, someone allegedly shot at two windows with a BB gun.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred July 25 on Pansy Ringgold Road in Ringgold Township. During the incident, a couple engaged in a verbal confrontation that allegedly turned physical. Both were charged for the incident.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a suspicious person on Turnpike Avenue.
- Police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred on Woodland Road. During the incident, someone allegedly took two trailer tires and rims from a residence. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received information about a wanted male from Northern Cumberland County authorities. They had a male in custody, and he was wanted through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office. They were referred to the on-call deputy.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of an elderly resident on Willow Drive.
- Police received a report about possible drug activity at Wal-Mart.
- Police received a report about reckless driving in the area of a construction zone on Route 879.
- Police received a report about an attempted theft from a vehicle on Old Town Road.
- Police received a report about a possible domestic dispute at the Budget Inn.

Sandy Township
- Police received a report about a false alarm at CNB Bank on Friday.
- On Friday police received several reports about homes and vehicles being egged in Treasure Lake.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Friday. According to the report, a 20-year-old Luthersburg man lost control of his vehicle while traveling on Mount Run Road. It caused his vehicle to sideswipe a utility pole. Police said that the man was transported to Penn Highlands for medical treatment.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at AMC Classic DuBois 5 on Friday.
- Police received a report about a vehicle that was in a ditch Friday in the area of Sykes Street Extension and Stanley Road. According to police, the caller could not see if there was anyone inside the vehicle. However, it was gone upon police arrival to the scene.
- On Friday police received a report from Kay Jewelers employees who alleged that several pieces of jewelry, valued at approximately $2,072.49, were stolen from the store. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- On Friday Treasure Lake Security reported that someone spray-painted the outside of the Ski Lodge building.
- On Friday police received a report from a woman who stated that her vehicle was hit and damaged while it was parked in the TJ Maxx parking lot.
- On Friday police received a report from a Wilson Avenue woman. She stated that a suspicious, older male who was driving a black Dodge Caravan stopped in front of her house. The male was talking to her kids, and when she went outside, he pulled away.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at ABCS on Friday.
- Police received a report about a false alarm at Miller Brothers on Saturday.
- Police responded to a Sloping View Drive residence for a report about German shepherd dogs running loose in the neighborhood on Saturday. Officers handled the situation.
- On Saturday police received a report from Dollar General about an incident of retail theft. During the incident, two women came into the store and allegedly stole baby clothes. It was the second time they had stolen from the store, according to the report. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- On Saturday police received a report from a 35-year-old Hungry Hollow Road man. He stated that someone who was in a black truck with a trailer dumped a lot of debris on his property.
- On Saturday police received a report from a Treasure Lake man. He stated that his daughter had received a strange text message from an unknown person who claimed that they were going to post a nude video of her on You Tube. When officers looked into the phone number, it was found that there had been several fraud incidents involving it.
- On Saturday police responded to a South Main Street resident’s report about a male who was allegedly trying to break into vehicles at the residence. Upon arrival, officers found the residents had the 33-year-old suspect pinned to the ground. A resident had found the man inside his vehicle attempting to take out the stereo, according to the report. When the man was arrested, police found that he was carrying a large knife and wearing black gloves.
- On Saturday police reported that a vehicle owned by a 26-year-old Treasure Lake man ran off of Anguilla Road and hit an electric pole. This caused the wires to come down, and the vehicle was found unoccupied in a wooded area, police said. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police responded to a Mountain Run Road residence for a reported domestic dispute on Sunday. A 51-year-old woman and her 63-year-old husband were involved in a verbal dispute. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- On Sunday police received a report from a 28-year-old Pacific Avenue resident who stated there was a rooster in her yard. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- On Sunday police received a report from a 27-year-old Massachusetts man. He stated that while his tractor-trailer was parked in the Pilot parking lot, someone hit and damaged it.
- Police responded to a Mountain Run residence for a reported domestic dispute on Sunday. It was also verbal in nature, and officers handled the situation without incident.
- On Sunday police received a report from a 48-year-old Hill Street woman who stated there was a bat in her house. Officers responded and removed the bat.
- On Sunday, police received a report from employees of the Clarion Motel. They stated blood was found on the wall on the second-floor. Upon investigation, officers found it was an orange liquid that someone had squirted on the wall.
