Companies struggle to meet workforce wage expectations

At 4.3 percent, the U.S. is experiencing the lowest unemployment rate in 11 years, which means it’s no longer an employer’s market. People still seeking work include fired employees, displaced workers lacking updated skills, laid off workers from the oil and gas industry, boomers re-entering the workforce, recovered drug addicts, and millennials trying to land their first job.
