State police at Clearfield
- State police reported an incident of DUI/reckless endangerment that occurred Monday on the Curwensville-Pike Highway in Pike Township. During the incident, a 42-year-old Olanta man, Robert Brewer Jr., shot a 380-caliber pistol in a residential district at a burn barrel. State police said he was on an all-terrain vehicle while on the roadway and placed under arrest for driving under the influence. He refused chemical testing and was charged for the incident through the district court.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police reported on the investigation into a death that occurred Tuesday on Airport Road in Bell Township. According to state police, they responded for a medical emergency due to an unresponsive boy. Upon arrival, emergency personnel were already at the scene, and the boy was identified by family members who were present. State police said there weren’t any suspicious circumstances identified at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle in the area of Park Avenue Extension.
- Police responded to a tractor fire in the area of Clover Hill Road.
- Police responded to an automatic fire alarm in the area of Byers Street. However, police were cancelled while en route.
- Police received a noise complaint that occurred in Kerr Addition.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of criminal mischief that occurred on Park Avenue Extension. It remains under investigation at this time.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Woodland Road. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a male in Kerr Addition.
- Police received a report about alleged child abuse. It remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation on River Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communications and stalking.
DuBois City
- Police observed a vehicle parked in the middle of the upper lot at the Penn State DuBois campus. The occupant was concentrated on the high school. When police made contact, the male stated he was waiting for his son to get out of school. Everything was found to be OK, and police cleared the scene.
- Police received a report about a vehicle being keyed overnight on East Long Avenue. It remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a girl allegedly being assaulted in the City Park. It remains under investigation at this time.
