CLEARFIELD – Central Pennsylvania Community Action (CPCA) is offering the Assets for Independence Program (AFI) for residents of Centre and Clearfield counties.
This program is offered through a grant from Northwest Bank and a matching grant from the Office of Community Service through the Department of Health & Human Services.
AFI is a dollar-for-dollar matched savings program for income-eligible residents of Centre and Clearfield counties. Savers must save toward continuing education or home ownership.
AFI is designed to assist first-time home buyers and families with continuing education expenses along with strengthening the family’s savings habits and educating them on budgeting and setting goals. Time is limited for enrollment and participation.
