This past summer, Ross spearheaded a drive to help Clearfield flooding victims to obtain clothing and other much-needed items. She was assisted by her family, friends and pastor.

Pictured, from left, are Mrs. Ross’ friend Kim Jordan, who helped with the summer drive; Rotarian Buzz Johnston; Ross and her son, John Ross II; her Pastor Stephen DeSantis of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Clearfield; and Rotarian Fred Weaver.

Rotarians were saddened to hear that not long after Ross had helped so many, her family’s home was heavily damaged by a fire.

Ross’ faith, optimism and goodness helped many with their loss, and the Rotary Club wanted to recognize her for making a great difference.
