State police at Clearfield

  • State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Friday at a private residence in Ramey Borough. During the incident, a known person allegedly broke the victim’s phone and caused injury to her. Charges will be filed through the district court.
  • State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Thursday at four locations in Coalport Borough. During the incident, an unknown male and female allegedly painted the words “Soser” and “Fatal 5” on the side of businesses. State police say the female was wearing a coat and the male a hoodie and pants. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
  • State police received a report about an incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred Friday on State Street in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, a male who was driving a silver Sedan pumped $20.01 worth of gas and left Snappy’s Convenience Store without paying for it. State police say the male’s vehicle had damage to the front passenger’s side. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
  • State police received a report about an incident of assault/harassment that occurred Friday on North Front Street in Decatur Township. During the incident, an unknown male and the victim allegedly engaged in a verbal dispute that turned into a physical altercation. State police described the male as being Caucasian with dark hair, and he was driving a black sports utility vehicle.   • State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Thursday at a private residence on Walton Street in Chester Hill Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a 55-inch Sony Smart Television from the victim’s residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
  • State police received a report about an incident of assault/harassment that occurred Saturday at Wildwood II in Pike Township. During the incident, an unknown female allegedly assaulted the victim by grabbing her by the throat. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.

State police at DuBois

  • State police received a report about a burglary that occurred between Oct. 12 and Friday at a Bushley Road residence in Washington Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered without the victim’s permission and removed numerous items, totaling around $8,000 in value. State police say items stolen included an engine hoist, Delta floor model drill press, electric log splitter, 800 rounds of Portuguese 7.62 ammunition, 2,000 rounds of Canadian IVI SS 106 and a Bausch & Lomb spotting scope.   • State police reported a DUI incident that occurred Saturday on Wayne Road in Sandy Township. Troopers stopped a DuBois man for several summary traffic violations and allegedly detected a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. He was subsequently arrested for DUI, along with other summary traffic violations, which are pending blood test results.

State police at Philipsburg

  • State police received a report about an alleged motor vehicle theft that occurred Nov. 20 on Twin Oaks Street in Rush Township. State police say the stolen vehicle was crashed and recovered on Route 322. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
  • State police received a report about an incident of harassment/disorderly conduct that occurred Saturday at the End Zone Night Club in Huston Township. According to state police, a State College male was requested to leave the club due to his actions inside. Once he was outside, he allegedly became loud and aggressive. A club employee allegedly grabbed, pushed and struck the male as he was leaving the premises. State police cited the male with disorderly conduct and the employee with harassment.
  • State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Thursday or Friday at the Slabtown Park in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged a garbage can and railing at the skate park. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.

State police at Ridgway

  • State police received a report about an incident of identity theft that occurred Nov. 22 in Jay Township. During the incident, someone allegedly gained access to the victim’s personal information and obtained $430 by using the victim’s bank card. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
  • State police received a report about an incident of reckless endangering that occurred Sunday at a Shawmut Road residence in Brockport. During the incident, someone allegedly fired a round from a rifle, which struck the right side of the victims’ residence. State police say it passed through the siding and entered the master bathroom; it continued across the bathroom and became lodged in an electrical receptacle. When troopers arrived at the scene, they conducted several interviews in an effort to identify possible suspects. State police are continuing their investigation at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway barracks at 814-776-6136.

Clearfield Borough

  • Police responded to a welfare check on Daisy Street. Officers were able to make contact with person in question.
  • Police responded to an alarm on Power Avenue. Further, police say it was found to be false.
  • Police responded to East Locust Street for a report about a person who was knocking on doors of residences. However, the actor had left prior to police arrival.
  • Police responded to an alleged theft incident on East 11th Police say it remains under investigation at this time.

Lawrence Township

  • Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment in the area of Byers Street.
  • Police received a report about a civil issue at the Economy Inn Motel along South Second Street.
  • Police received a report about an alleged incident of trespassing at the Sheetz store on Route 879. Upon arrival police spoke with a female who wasn’t any longer permitted at the store. She subsequently left without incident.
  • Police received a report about suspicious people in the area of Rent A Center. However, they had left prior to police arrival.
  • Police received a report about a domestic dispute and determined it was a verbal argument involving family members.
  • Police received a report about a hit-and-run that occurred in the area of Hyde.
  • Police received a report about a runaway juvenile in the Summit Street area. Police say the child was located and returned home.
  • Police received a report about two runaway juveniles in the area of Lawrence Park Village. Police say both children were located and returned home.
  • Police received a report about a civil property issue in the High Street area.
  • Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle in the area of a local business on Route 879. However, it had left prior to police arrival.
  • Police received a report about a fuel spill in the area of a local business on Industrial Park Road. Police contacted the fire department, and its personnel cleaned up the spill.
