DCC Math Team Earns First Place at Clarion University

DUBOIS – Members of the math team at DuBois Central Catholic High School pose with their first place plaque earned at the recent high school competition held at Clarion University on Nov. 3.  

DCC earned top honors out of 14 schools in their category.  In addition, senior Trisha Gupta earned second place out of approximately 140 students in the Class A category of schools. 

Math team members are the following:  (front) Meghan Graeca, Macey Hanes, Gabby Caruso, Trisha Gupta and Brenna Engle, and (back) Emily Williams, Zach Logan, Anthony DePello and Jessica Tomasko. 

Team advisors are Laurie Zamperini and Alena Park, DCC math department instructors.
