CLEARFIELD – Several Clearfield Area United Way campaign members are shown recently preparing for the fall drive, and “Opportunities to Build a Better Tomorrow” is its theme.

Shown are Brenda Terry, Ruth Anne Ryan-Catalano, Rich Greslick, Kevin Wain and Campaign Chairman Greg Dixon.

Volunteers promote the 24 local member Health & Human Service agencies that are helped year-round by the United Way.

CAUW volunteers have a goal of raising $236,000 and will gather in October for the kick-off at the St. Charles Café dining room.

“United Way needs everyone’s help to make a difference this year. We help touch lives of people throughout eastern, southern and central Clearfield County,” shared Dixon.

Dixon continued, adding: “Our campaign volunteers work diligently to make a difference whether it’s through allocations, a Reading Ripples book project, Jeans for Teens, Wish grants, public relations grants or the various items they collect and donate, etc. People of all ages are being helped.”

If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to help the United Way campaign, please send it to CAUW, 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830. Or, you can also give via PayPal at clearfieldareaunitedway.org.
