BROCKWAY – Superior Energy Resources LLC hosted an open house March 31 for companies engaged in various facets of the shale industry, including matting, fabrication and servicing for oil and gas operations.
Representatives from companies in Pennsylvania and New York attended and included National Fuel and SWN.
The event featured a demonstration of the newest drying agent for well sites, which is distributed by Superior’s partner N&L Transport. Also on display were several samples of mats manufactured and distributed by SER, LLC.
Other firms invited to take part included Anadarko, Cabot, Consol, Campbell, EOG, Gulfport, JKLM, Noble, PGE, Repsol, Samson, XTO, Antero, ECA, EQT, Hunt, Mountaineer Keystone, Penn Energy, Range Resources, Rex, Rice Energy, Seneca, Vantage, Northeast Natural, Orion, Halliburton, Eclipse, Chief and McCarl’s.
Other key partners that made the event successful, according to Superior Energy Resources Chief Operating Officer Stan Foster were Axion International and Apple Tractor. Apple provided all the heavy equipment used in the demonstration. AP Lenard provided the shakers and centrifuge. N&L transported the backyard equipment and the drying agent onto location.
“The event was successful and we are planning another later this spring at one of our satellite yards with another partner,” Foster said.
