Fire Damages Auto Body Repair Shop in Brockway, Remains Under Investigation

BROCKWAY – A fire remains under investigation after it damaged Jim’s Custom Collision of Brockway on Monday night, reported state police at DuBois.

The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal and the Brockway Fire Department investigated the origin and cause of the fire at the auto body repair shop.

According to state police, it originated in a restroom after business hours. It was found by a Brockway firefighter during a smoke investigation.

Damage to the auto body repair shop was estimated at $50,000. It is closed as a result of the fire, state police said.
