Obituary Notice: April D. Taylor

April D. Taylor, 43, of Sykesville died surrounded by her loving family after a battle with cancer on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 at her home.

Born April 24, 1972 in DuBois, she was the daughter of William E. and Audrey E. (Cyphert) Dunlap.  They both survive and live in DuBois.

On July 24, 1991, she married Stephen P. Taylor.  He survives.

Mrs. Taylor had worked as a care nurse at Christ the King Manor. Prior to that, she had worked at the DuBois Nursing Home and the Reynoldsville Casket Company.  She had also worked at Happy Hearts Daycare.

She was Baptist by faith and enjoyed gardening and camping.  She loved reading and most importantly, she loved being a mother.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children, Justin P. Taylor of Bellefonte and Emily S. Taylor of Sykesville; a brother, William A. Dunlap of Luthersburg; and a sister, Melissa A. Loomis and her husband, Timothy of DuBois.

She is also survived by her in-laws, the Joe Taylor family, Joe and Connie, Patty and Joe Baummer and Scott and Dani and David Taylor.

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor David Nagele officiating.

Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the St. Jude’s Research Fund, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
