Winning Streak at Three for Clearfield JV Football Team

Wingate — The Clearfield Junior Varsity football team’s winning streak reached three when they came from behind to defeat Bald Eagle Area 12-6 on Monday night.

The Bison (4-2) trailed 6-0 in the second quarter after a 1-yard touchdown run by their hosts.

A 4-yard touchdown pass from Isaac Rumery to Spencer Graham tied the game at six at the halftime break.

After a scoreless third quarter, Ryan Lazauskas had a pick-6 for the Bison ‘D’ in the final quarter that was the difference in the game.

Chris Cheskey also had an interception for the pesky defense, while John Maines, Colton Probst, and Graham each recovered a fumble.

Clearfield will close out the 2015 JV campaign on Monday night at 6:00 pm when they host Brockway at the Bison Spors Complex.
