Clearfield Revitalization Corp. to Hold Promotion, Media Auction

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC) will hold a Promotion and Media Auction Nov. 5 at Moena’s Restaurant in downtown Clearfield.

The auction will be an opportunity for area businesses and organizations to purchase marketing and advertising at greatly reduced prices.

The Promotion and Media Auction will be an event that features numerous local radio, television and print outlets, etc., as well as others.

Packages were provided by GANT Media, WOKW 102.9, Graham Sign Company, First Media Radio, The Progress, Magnus Marketing, WTAJ-10, Comcast, Mega Rock, WJAC-6, ABC 23/Fox 8, Courier-Express, State College Spikes, Impact Printing, Black & White Business Solutions and many others.

Local media outlets have donated various packages to enhance a business’ or organization’s advertising and marketing plans. Attendees will have the opportunity to preview the offerings during a social hour after which an auction will be held for the various items.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from the local media outlets that donated these items before and after the auction.

The CRC is confident that this event will give those in attendance a great method of saving money on their 2016 marketing and advertising budgets while supporting your local community revitalization efforts,” said Main Street Manager Loretta Wagner.

“Even if your annual advertising budget is small, please do not let this event scare you. Each package is different in pricing and can fit into anyone’s promotional budget.”

Those attending the event are encouraged to arrive at 5 p.m. for the social hour with light refreshments.  The actual auction will begin at 6 p.m. featuring Auctioneer Pat Errigo. There is no fee to attend the auction.

Each business in attendance will receive one number for bidding. There will be no reservation required, but an RSVP would be greatly appreciated for planning purposes. You can RSVP to or call 814-765-6000.

“The CRC looks forward to being able to provide area businesses and organizations with an avenue to reduce the cost of advertising and marketing in 2016,” said Wagner.
