CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Supervisors released the fall leaf pick-up schedule at this week’s meeting.
Supervisor Chairman Bill Lawhead stressed that the schedule is subject to change due to weather, available crew and equipment problems.
He said the township staff will do everything possible to stick to the schedule, and asked residents to be understanding. He said they will get to any missed pickups.
The leaf schedule will run from Oct. 19 through Nov. 20.
Monday pick-ups will be for bagged leaves only. All bags must be biodegradable. Leaves in plastic bags or with garbage will not be picked up.
Tuesdays will be Zone 1, which consists of Golden Rod, Weaverhurst, Hillsdale and Haney Development.
Wednesdays will be Zone 2, which consists of Hyde, Country Club Hills, Long Meadow, Elizabeth Street and Cambria Drive.
Thursdays will be Zone 3, which consists of Plymptonville, Susquehanna Terrace and Kerr Addition.
Fridays, during the month of November only, will be open to pick up in areas that may have been missed.
