CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, has announced that Ruth Anne Ryan-Catalano, vice president/retail banking, has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Member Services Policy Committee.
The committee is responsible for overseeing member services, to include member contact programs and PA Banker’s nomination process. Ryan-Catalano began a three-year term on July 1.
A native of Clearfield, she graduated from the St. Francis Catholic High School in 1980 and, in 1989, earned her Bachelor’s in business administration with a major in marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
Since then she has earned five banking diplomas from the Pennsylvania Banker’s Association/Professional Development Network (PBA/PDN) to include General Banking, Bank Operations, Consumer Lending, Commercial Lending and Banking & Finance. She also completed PA Bankers Advanced School of Banking in 2008.
Ryan-Catalano currently serves on the Lock Haven University Clearfield Campus Advisory Council, volunteers with the Clearfield Area United Way, Clearfield Salvation Army and other various community activities and bank-related educational events at local schools and libraries. She is a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Clearfield and resides in Clearfield with her husband, John.
