CLEARFIELD – A complimentary workshop on marketing will be presented by Lock Haven University and sponsored by the Greater Clearfield Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 2.
It will be held from 8:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. at LHU Clearfield Campus in Founders Hall.
“Helping the Small to Medium Size Business to Better Understand Marketing Today,” is a complimentary workshop open to the public.
Attendees will gain a better understanding of advertising and how to make it fit into the budget; who your audience is and where do they come from; how to use research to help with buying decisions; digital media and how to use it effectively; and social media and how it can help with an overall marketing strategy.
Presenter, Jeff Matter, is a marketing and sales professional with more than 20 years of experience helping small to medium sized businesses grow.
He has worked for companies, such as Sheetz, Tele-Communications Inc., AT&T and Adelphia and currently he is the Area Sales Manager for Comcast Spotlight and manages the Johnstown/Altoona/State College DMA.
He enjoys working with businesses to develop successful marketing plans and brings a vast knowledge of marketing and sales experience from traditional marketing to digital marketing. He is a Lock Haven University graduate (1991) with a degree in business.
