The Centre County Democratic Committee has selected Katie Oliver as their recommended candidate for Judge of Court of Common Pleas in Centre County and has submitted her name to be confirmed by a vote of the Executive Committee of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party before her name is submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of State and therefore listed on the November ballot.
“We are very excited to have someone with Katie’s experience and background in the law as our candidate. Katie has always excelled in the law from graduating first in her class at Dickinson School of Law to being recognized by her peers for her thoughtful approach to the law,” stated Greg Stewart, chair
“I am very honored by the Centre County Democratic Committee nomination, by the immediate outpouring of support expressed by family, friends, colleagues, and community members, and by all of the strong votes of confidence. I am firmly committed to using my twenty years of legal experience to serve the people of Centre County as a judge on its Court of Common Pleas. I look forward to the campaign, and to the chance to meet more of the Centre County voters in that process,” stated Oliver.
