CURWENSVILLE – Almost 100 runners, walkers and their four-legged friends participated in the 2015 “Doggone” 5K-10K Run/Walk at Curwensville Lake recently to benefit the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic in Woodland.

The Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic/Animal Welfare Council is a non-profit organization that provides affordable spay and neuter and other services to help pets.

Whether participating in the run/walk, donating a door prize, volunteering to direct traffic or passing out water, donating baked goods or items from the clinic wish list, all efforts helped needy animals in this area.

For more information about the event or the clinic call 814-857-5280 or visit online at info@animal411.net or on Facebook.
