Obituary Notice: Debora E. Dixon

Debora E. Dixon, 58, of Munson died Sunday, May 3, 2015 at her residence. Born April 18, 1957 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Leroy Emigh and the late Mary Jane Yatta Emigh.

She was married to John J. Dixon. He survives in Munson.

Mrs. Dixon is survived by two daughters, Jody Gunter and her husband, Tim and Bobbie Hughes and her husband, Brian, both of Philipsburg, and two sons, Brad Dixon and his wife, Lauren and Justin Dixon, both of Munson.

She is survived by five sisters, Robin Yarger, Kathy Lewis, Kristina Fenton, Cindy Bradley and Penny Hunt and six brothers, Mike Williams, Tom Emigh, Wayne Emigh, Donald Emigh, Leroy Maines and John Emigh.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Benjamin Gunter, Brandon Gunter, Teagon Dixon, Layla Dixon, Haley Dixon, Makenzie Gracey and Trezden Dixon.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Emigh.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, with the Pastor Joe Muir officiating. Burial will be in the Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the funeral home.

    Yes Elaine ! There will not be a day that goes by that she will not be remembered in her friends hearts.
    She was one great women. What I would do to sit and have a burger with her with coffee again . I will miss seeing her online postings: Good Morning, Checking in , Love you, And Sleep well my Angels.

    Deb, there will not be a day that goes by that you wont be in my heart and on my mind. The words “I will miss you” just dont seem to justify what I really mean. Thank you for being my friend for these 11 years. Thank you for the time you took with me, the love you gave….emanated from you inately. Watch over Bobby Jo and the rest of your kids and grands. Thank you for introducing me to Bobby Jo….its the next best thing to having you here. She’s so much like you. I will keep our conversations and memories alive, the CATS will always honor you and think of you. We love you, I love you. Sleep with the angels now…no more pain. Remember, CATS RULE, DOGS DRULE!
