Patel Places First in Speech Competitions

CLEARFIELD – On April 11, Malav Patel, a junior in Tangi Borden’s public speaking class, represented the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School and the local Clearfield Rotary at the Regional Rotary Four-Way Test Speech Competition.

Patel placed first at both the local and regional competitions and will be moving on to the district finals. The finals will take place May 2 in Camp Hill.

At this time, Patel will be competing against four other students from various Rotary districts in Pennsylvania. He also has the opportunity to win $1,000.
