HARRISBURG – For the first time, black-legged (deer) ticks have now been observed in all 67 counties of Pennsylvania, according to researchers at the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The range expansion took place in just decades, as similar studies conducted in the mid-1960’s found no specimens.
CLEARFIELD – Charges have been filed against Kyle Andrew Wilson, 21, of the State Correctional Institution at Benner Township for an alleged rape incident involving an 11-year-old girl in March of 2011, according to Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland’s office.
Following the annual meetings of CNB Financial Corp. and CNB Bank on Tuesday, CNB Financial Corp. announced that its shareholders re-elected Class 3 directors, Joseph B. Bower Jr., Robert W. Montler, Joel E. Peterson and Richard B. Seager, each for a three-year term to expire at the 2018 annual meeting.
MORRIS TOWNSHIP – Garrett S. Emigh, 22, of Morrisdale is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly possessing synthetic marijuana with the intent to deliver and related misdemeanors, reported the state police at Clearfield.
